Our client is constructing the world’s largest Lithium Hydroxide Facility at the industrial precinct in Kwinana Beach.
3B Survey were awarded the contract to provide vital Field Surveying and Auditing during the construction of the plant.
The Scope of Work includes:
- The establishment of the Primary Control Network which involves regular monitoring for settlement to ensure the construction accuracies are always optimal with regards to tolerances.
- Many contractors are working onsite and part of the 3B Survey SOW includes an auditing role, here we carry out checks on contractor’s survey work to ensure that their work is meeting tolerances and so that our clients quality assurance requirements are being met.
- Other survey requests from our client such as Infrastructure topographic surveys, for the design of the gas pipeline and the electrical switchyard and stockpile volume surveys.
- The continuing management of the underground services model or GIS, this includes the correlation of the individual contractor as-constructed records into the one live drawing which is updated and presented to our client weekly.
