Anth Lavery

Here we introduce our Operations Director, Anth Lavery.

Anth has 30 years experience in Dimensional Control and Laser Scanning, starting as a survey assistant back in 1991 at a fabrication yard in his home town of Middlesbrough in the UK. During his 10 years at this same facility, Anth became an experienced surveyor and gained a great deal of knowledge in steel and piping fabrication working closely with fitters and welders on numerous offshore platform construction projects.

Before joining 3B Survey in Australia in 2009, Anth worked primarily overseas in places like Azerbaijan, West Africa the UAE and the USA.

Whilst working with 3B in Australia, Anth helped establish the company as a leader in Dimensional Control and Laser Scanning with a number of major clients and helped the company to expand it’s markets overseas in the USA, Israel and Asia. Anth became a Director of the company in 2015 and now heads up our Melbourne office, looking after a number of clients including Exxon Mobil, Beach Energy and Origin among others.

Anth’s vast experience is invaluable to 3B, and he is always willing to pass on any help and advice to our more junior staff. He is passionate about surveying and building the company domestically and globally, always looking for new opportunities and clients to continue our growth. He still likes nothing better than getting ‘back on the tools’, making regular trips offshore and overseas and keeping the cobwebs at bay!
